Not sure if we're very likely to make the cut but who knows.

I'd bet it will be Memphis, LSU, Tenn, Ark, Florida...maybe IU. Definitely not us.
 
Agree. Doubtful he leaves the Southeast region of the country. Plus, I would have thought we would have heard more noise about him recently along with some of the other recruits.
It's a damn shame because Jaylen Fisher can play!!

I really thought Kobe King would be our first high school commit. And I thought he would do it this year. But reportedly he is going to wait until next fall to decide. My guess, we will get at least one JUCO recruit by the end of September. I am starting to hear more encouraging words that Xavier Simpson likes Iowa State's coaching staff, ALOT!

King said he wants to decide next summer in an interview IIRC. That's a long ways away so it could change though. I like our chances with him but it's always tough to get commitments from guys this far ahead of time. Xavier Simpson would be a huge pickup & I would be thrilled for him to be a Cyclone.
 
@thekoz931: Xavier Simpson told Koza show he has narrowed his college choices to 7. Iowa, Iowa St, VCU, Pitt, Purdue, Ill,& Xavier. Visits Iowa St first

I personally think that's a possibility (or shortly after). The signs seem to be aligning. He cancelled his Purdue visit, and Xavier is making more PG offers.

We are definitely in the mix, IMO.

I agree with you and Xavier will almost be completely off the board if 4 star PG Quentin Goodin commits to Xavier after his official visit this weekend! If not then whom knows, we could land him just as well, but I like Simpson more.

We're definitely in the mix, but a kid with a top 7 is definitely gonna take other visits. He cancelled the Purdue visit due to a death in the family.
