A good friend of mine is a chemist at New Link. From what he says, they played a very large role in it. Very cool to have a company like that here in Ames.

If a bug gets released that kills 90% of the World's population, I doubt it really makes much difference where it originated. Exposure is pretty much a given at that point.

I enjoy the cat/mouse naval game stuff they do. Some of the drama is a bit much. The ideas they play out about pandemic aftermath is interesting as well.
