The first five games will the more than likely have the most pressure of CPR's career at ISU. His seat has never been hotter (justifiably) and if they have a slow start (2-3 or worse) there isn't many other wins left on the schedule ....

Last year, OSU, Tech, Kansas and Texas were down. The 2012 team would have beaten all of them, plus NDSU, Iowa and Toledo. Gotta think they could have finished that K-State game too.

But then again, that 2012 team should have beaten TTU, KSU, WVU and Tulsa (in bowl) too and could have finished as high as 10-3 with losses to Oklahoma, Texas and Oklahoma State.

#BowlOrBust. 3-9 is still 3-9, and 8-28 over three seasons.

Beating TCU, Baylor and Oklahoma would be the most pointless major upsets ever, with losses to UNI, Iowa, Kansas, Toledo and TTU already notched. That would mean an 0-5 Iowa State team leading into the TCU game.

Pure depression, because that would probably be enough to keep CPR around. I'd be much happier with 5 solid wins and somewhat competing with all the big dogs in the conference. ****, I'd just be happy if CPR found a way to make his teams come out and look like they actually wanted to play.
