Jimmy Butler to Lakers? (Not interested in Hoiball?)

Chasing the money I assume?

Not sure if you read the article, but kinda...possibly. Essentially the lakers would actually offer him less than the bulls, reportedly, but that it'd allow him to sign a bigger contract later under higher caps in the future.

The Bulls without Jimmy Butler are not a very dangerous team at all. Good luck Fred.

He's a restricted free agent so the Bulls can match any offer sheet to keep him

Tim Floyd all over again? Aging overpaid roll players, but I guess he does have a oft injured superstar also. That'll at least keep expectations sky high.

Just saw the mock draft on the scroll on ESPN and it has the Bulls taking...wait for it...Rashad Vaughn. Find that hard to believe after what went down, but it's a business. Don't see it happening though.

but, but, CW says it's a top 5 job in the world!!!!! I was left scratching my head every time he said this. (Which seemed like 1,000 times on the radio) reasons why it's not. I was never convinced you wanted to give Jimmy a top contract. D -rose is one bad luck move away from most likely retiring due to injurys. Pau has 1 year left of quality. And oh yeah a guy named LeBron isn't ever leaving the east.

top basketball jobs in the world.
1. Any team LeBron is on.
2. The Thunder
3. UK
4. KU
5. Golden State
6. Spurs
7. Rockets
8. North Carolina
9. Duke
10. ISU :)

Just wanted to give my input here....zero eff's given. I hate the bulls no matter what. Love FH but the bulls have been on my **** list long before FH and TF.

You're welcome! (before the "thanks for your contribution crowd")

Probably a good move by Butler. He's a hot commodity in the NBA and can be the "guy" for another team...especially when Kobe is gone from LA after next season. Chicago won't sit around though, they'll make some plays this offseason imo, they'll still be a top end team in the east.

It has nothing to do with Fred. It has to do with $$$$$

Well no team can give him more than the Bulls, it's just going to come down to how open they are to a short term deal rather than a five year deal. There's no question he's a max contract guy.

I find this HIGHLY shocking. LOL...

I've got as much of a chance of winning a NBA championship in the next 5 years as Fred at this point.
