Well geez, nobody is asking the guy anything and I don't know how that comments section works. At least that agent puts his name to what he says. I am pretty tired of the ISU sources at this point. It just seems to be 100% PR and 0% truth.

Sorry, I should have taken out the filtered word...tried to explain it, but I didn't, it seems.

The filtered word wasn't meant to imply anger or ridicule to you...it was meant to imply the definitive nature of my opinions on how Chris would follow up on that lead, if it's legit. As in...not 'you're so dumb', but 'no way, no how, not now, not ever' would that be how that happens...again, sorry if it seemed I was attacking you, that totally wasn't my intent. In hindsight, should have just worded it differently instead of trying to include the explanation.

We don't know. Someone responded claiming to be his agent (or member of that firm). That might be true, might be a creative troll effort, but it's led to excitement where we really don't know anything.

Haha this is unreal

Jeff Hornacek’s agent confirms it’s him commenting on this Cyclone Fanatic report. We've reached peak coaching search http://*******/1AOcmkc

I'd just like to say that the internet is a goddamned amazing thing.

Successful coach replacement is an in exact science. Unless you can get a catch like Izzo or Self there is going to be some projection and speculation on hire you think they will work out.

By many metrics McDermott should have been a great hire while Fred was a long shot.

Since there are inherent unknowns with hiring the from the pool of candidates that are realistically available to ISU let's pick the coach that we (the AD) thinks that will be the best for the program in the long run. Let's do it on our own terms instead of following some generic formula like X coach is from Y school and had Z success.

If the AD thinks so & so is the best candidate regardless of his resume or lack thereof then let's do it. There are risks either way we go but if we go with what we feel is the best fit and it doesn't work out. At least we did it on our own terms and not some cliche.

The whole thing with Hornacek's camp smells of putting pressure on the Sun's to **** or get off the pot.

Exactly - JP should have never made a back alley deal with TJ. JP thought that he was above the donors and the university.

Or just own up to it. If TJ fails he's likely gone anyways. If he succeeds he looks like a genious
