Travis Hines on Waddle and Silvy at 5:00

I know we're just joking about it, but Hines probably does have a pretty bright future in the sports writing business.
Of all the major Chicago sports radio shows, Waddle & Silvy is the least annoying. It is a little "Daaaaaa Bears" at times but they hide it better than some other shows that are literal carbon copies of the SNL skit only serious.
Waddle is actually pretty funny on it sometimes.

I was going to say turn to the Score if you want that, but looks like you've got it covered. The Score is soooo bad, of course I haven't listened to it in a while. Added bonus is when those guys get on a political rant.
Waddle and Silvy are pretty good.
People don't believe me but much of Chicago sports radio really is like that. I liked Waddle and Silvy best (just moved after 14 years). Silvy is actually a true diehard Bulls fan which is surprisingly rare in the city.
Most sports radio guys in Chicago are like the skit where they are trying to stay focused on the Bulls/Sox/Cubs but they start drifting toward dreaming about Ditka.
The Score is exactly like that. Their afternoon show was really bad on there. Way to much political complaining.Mac, Jurco, and Harry wasn't too bad on ESPN, but did have that "bears" feel, and then Mac went to the Score, which is where he probably belonged.
Then why all the silence. It is deafening. I have not heard him say he is a Tribuner forever and not interested in moving.
He's said from day 1 that his lifelong dream is to displace Rob Gray as Sr. Writer at CF.
I heard it was his dream job and his kids will now get to golf everyday this summer with the Hoiberg grandparents.
