Hey everyone, I really appreciate everyone accepting me into the Cyclone Fanatic family, and thrilled about the tones of questions and positive feedback I've been receiving. Keep the questions coming, I've been trying my best to respond to everyones questions.
While I'm firing back I'd like to let those of you who don't know that I will be hosting a basketball camp in Urbandale, Iowa, this summer from June 28th to July 2nd. It is a great way for me to give back to the kids of Iowa, helping instill the passion, hard work to be great at this sport, and some life lessons all while having fun! The camp will be directed by Chris Reif a certified I'm possible director. It will be a great chance to interact with me everyday, workout with me get better and the chance for some great prizes.

This is great! Any room for older guys to help out with camp activities? I've got some younger prospects in mind that are excited to sign up for your camp! I will be recovering from back surgery during this time period but should be in time to where I will be at full-strength.
Great opportunity for the younger players to work-out with Mel!
 
Melvin, I'd like to donate the registration fee for a few underprivileged kids - the staff's choice of deserving kids. I didn't see a way to do that at the website. Please post your answer here (there may be others who want to do the same) or, if you prefer, send me a PM.
 
Thanks for doing this camp! I'm really regretting moving my daughter from the Iowa Fire to a different program this summer. The I'm Possible program is awesome. Looking forward to getting her back working at IFA this Fall.

I hope you and everyone else know this camp isn't exclusive to Iowa Fire members but everyone, and I hope she will have a chance to work with us!

Yep, should have clarified. Chris worked with the different Iowa fire teams this winter. I was really impressed with the improvement she showed. Definitely recommend these camps to anyone. It's not working with our calendar this year unfortunately.
