I am assuming that KU took the offer off the table. I asked Hines if he thinks that is the case, and he agreed.

While I hope we can get this kid, I doubt IC people would be that upset.....they're getting Fran's boy who basically plays the same position. (Not saying ,though, that UI wont offer, too)
I'll still be interested to see how Iowa performs the next two years. Recruiting has been bad. I'm not sold on Connor playing there if they miss the tournament.
huh, iowa did offer Tyler Cook last summer. McCaffery is a 6-4 wing or 2 guard, Cook is a power forward
We should extend an offer to Fran's son. Now, if he commited to ISU, THAT would be a major meltdown in IC!

Duh. He falls outside of the top 25. Kansas only whores itself out to those (every single one) within that range.
If Iowa misses the tournament the next two years, do you think Fran will be on the hot seat? One tournament win in seven years.
That is the beauty of it. For Iowa, he would be a guaranteed starter. We would just bury him in the bench behind the walk ons. Hawks would be Mad again!
This! Iowa only made the tourney this year because Big 10 across the board had less talent compared to the norm. Losing White will hurt them badly and Uthoff and Joke are not gonna "step up" enough to get them in the tourney with the type of recruiting the Big 10 has done this year.
