MLB: Reds - Brewers

Before the season, I wondered who was going to be the cellar dweller of the NL Central. I figured Milwaukee, but thought they might be competitive. It looks like they answered the bell for Worst of the Division though.

Not looking good for my Brewers this season. Terrible pitching, and Gomez & Lucroy both on the DL -- and the hits (not offensively) just keep on coming. Ugh!!
I feel like Tom Cruise in the movie A Few Good Men:

Stormchaser I can now join you in the misery club. Rockies lost their 5th in a row. Time to forget about baseball again.

I'll be at GABP on July 4th, might have to have a paper bag over my head
It's a fun park. I advise parking your car across the river at Newport on the Levee & hitting up Hofbrauhaus for some pre-game beers.

I've heard the Moerlein Lager House is solid too, it's literally across the street from GABP.

And last but not least, don't forget some Skyline Chili!!

Thanks. Never considered across the river. Didn't know there was a hofbrauhaus there either. My hotel is in Middletown, so I'd be coming down I75. So I'm guessing I should cut over to I71 and take 471 across the river because the Levee is right there it looks like.

Yea, it's easier to get in/out over there in Newport. Obviously a bit of a walk, but it's actually pretty cool to cross the pedestrian bridge & see the Cincy skyline. Plus parking is like $2. Apparently they have a shuttle, too... but we always just walk.

$2 and a long walk certainly beats $12 at Miller Park. Sitting first row section 412 which is 3rd base side
