Its certainly possible that Diallo called Coach Hoiberg and told him that ISU is out....and that you then heard directly from FH, or an assistant...that we are 100% out of it. But that just feels unlikely, even if you do have a good source. Maybe I'm wrong and Coach Hoiberg called you personally to tell you "Diallo says we're out"...but, yes, I'm skeptical of that.

If I've offended you with my skepticism, that's not my intention....I'm trying to explain to you why declarations of "certainty" generally meet with disbelief. Most likely, Diallo goes to KU/UK/St John's and this whole discussion is rendered moot, but it just feels over the top for anyone to assert they have infallible knowledge of this at this point.

This is a polite response and I appreciate that. Likewise, I never meant it to come across as "infallible knowledge". And you're right, even if it's the typical trustworthy people you hear it from, you can't state it or pass it along as a certainty. Obviously, a coach isn't going to talk to me personally about recruiting. NOT indicating that at all. So, yes, we're on the same page. Just to be fair, I had put in several of my earlier posts to those posting differently on the matter that I hope they were right and I'd love to eat crow. That should tell you this isn't about wanting to act like a know-it-all insider. I really never meant it to be that way at all, but apparently I ruined that chance that anyone will believe that now. Your suggestions are appreciated. Again, thanks. Now, I need to stop defending myself and learn to keep my mouth shut. Go Cyclones.

This just in. Diallo posts vine of him the Mayo clinic standing next to Fred's bedside wearing a Cyclone hat, and announcing his commitment to ISU.

Heard it hear first folks.

I'm being sincere here..... its only because the same posts/opinions/speculation kept reappearing and I got caught up in it like how many others in this mega-thread? But, yes, I think going to this message board is like a habit for me. One I need to break. I imagine it seems like I'm in the middle of a group of ladies talking about which girl the Bachelor should've picked. My last post to Mesa was sincere as well. I got it now. It's all good and you'll be glad to hear this is my last post in this thread. (And that's a promise , even if I'm drug threw the mud after Diallo does surprise and pick us. I'd be just as happy as everyone else.)

When Fred sits down with his family and decides his goal is a NC at ISU, against the wishes of his agent, he tells JP and Cyclone Nation he is here for life. NBA rumors stop, he hired another big time recruiter, and we start getting the blue chippers. All is well.

Zagoria was told by a source that the ku and sju visits "went well" Friday and Saturday. I'm sure he is announcing Tomorrow or Tuesday.
