Clayton Custer Transfering

he was the best baseball player in the state his senior year of HS. Lots of people speculated that baseball was where his heart was. A very good SS, with soft hands and quick feet.

If he wanted to play both baseball and basketball his scholly would get charged to basketball as the higher revenue sport, would it not?

Wichita announced three guys transferring out. Opens up a scholarship for Custer. Frankamp is paying his own way per his release from KU...

Restricted from B12 schools, UNI and Iowa, for those who care.

And yes, I meant K State baseball.

I spoke with a guy in Kansas City a few days after he announced his transfer. The guy said that he was surprised he went to college to play basketball because he is clearly a better baseball player.

Good luck to him. Too bad he couldn't have just switched teams rather than schools.

Wishing him the best at his new destination:

Does Loyola have a baseball team?

No baseball team.

Loyola was 24-13 last year, winning the CBI tournament. Best win was 62-44 over Texas Tech at Las Vegas. Lost 3 times to UNI. Closest game was 67-58 at Cedar Falls.

I noticed that one of Clayton's high school teammates, Ben Richardson, is on the Loyola roster.
