Who'd you predict? Guess I missed that. You have 10 opportunities to win after your 2nd victory so it's a pretty favorable bet.

Uthoff allegedly transferred back to Iowa (spurns ISU, Indiana, and others)--LOST a whole year of eligibility, just to be with his girlfriend

Nelson had Notre Dame and Stanford offers and chooses Iowa to be with his girlfriend, even though he claimed the medical school


good gawd....who gives up a Stanford education because they're p-whipped?

In fact, I said I wouldn't be surprised to see them lose to Illinois State. I wouldn't be surprised to see them win 4 and I wouldn't be surprised to see them win 8. That's how unpredictable they are at this point. Iowa historically under KF loses to teams they have no business losing to and competes against teams they have no business competing with. They are a Jekyl and Hyde team. I do not think this is going to be a good Iowa team, but there isn't one game on their schedule this year that I look at and say "There's no way they can win that one".

Can't tell you anything other than the info from recruiting sites. He hasn't played so who knows. 6'4 QB from Detroit who was a 3 or 4 star recruit depending on where you look. I believe Iowa stole him from Rutgers. He's not a flashy guy but it appears he has a nice arm. Throws a pretty deep ball. Regardless, he is a huge unknown like most back-ups.

The rumor is out that Sean Welsh may have left the Iowa team. He has been gone for a while due to family issues and may not return. That will certainly hurt an already weak Offensive Line.

Rumor has it KF has lost the locker room, wouldn't be surprised if more players leave...their program seems pretty fractured now especially since they lost their best QB

As president of ISU's chapter of the Jake Rudock fanboy club, you really need to come to grips with the fact that JR lost the job and move on. Maybe invest in some maize and blue.

Rob Howe said he didn't lose the job and KF put out a fake depth chart to keep fans happy. I'm sure Boyle will be #1 in January 2016.

Ha, right. He lost the job. I can understand your devotion to JR given that he threw for <150 yards, no TDs and an interception against ISU's 119th ranked pass D. Don't blame you.

And he still was way better statistically than Beathard last season. I don't think Rudock was good but it was obvious he was the better of the two last season.

Either way I'm excited for football season, any win ISU gets will be gravy and Iowa's offense is going to be awful

As would be any starter over the backup.

Iowa's D will be worse than the O.
