Ouch. I can't think of a single month of the year that Detroit is nice.
Why does that remind me of listening to the Cyclones get their ***** handed to them by Boise State, in Boise while I'm driving between a funeral and burial in mixed snow and rain? One of my best days ever.

Actually Iowa dbs are all six foot and lbs seem okay. My guess is their defense is better than their offense, and their oline line looks really small. Expect another low scoring game in Ames.
I think they can limp to six regular season wins. Getting a seventh with a bowl win might be a tall order, though. They would have to draw a mid major team; we all saw what happened when they had to line up against a middling team from one of the power conferences.
LB's are slow. They are not good. DT's covered up a lot for them last year. And big Carl Douglas and Louis Trinca-Passat are gone. Their defense is in trouble at DT. And also at LB.
Nothing to fear. The 2 DT's replacing Douglas and Trinca-Pasat had 1 Unassisted Tackle between them. No worries.
I don't know what reality you're spending time in, but I don't think it's the correct one.
Most of us follow ISU football, we have developed a skill of spotting a weak roster from a mile away. That Iowa depth chart is a damn dumpster fire and I don't care how easy their schedule is, it's going to be rough.
No.....you don't understand. They won 7 games last year.......and even though they lost a 1st round draft pick from their OL and they lost a couple NFL prospects at DT last year. Plus a career record WR. Along with other player losses. They are going to be better.
CJ is better than Brett Favre. Even though his stats are worse than Rudock's. Because he can scramble and there is no fear of him even getting hurt behind that weak O-Line. Iowa can beat every team on their schedule. I heard it straight from Section110. They are great.
You guys are reading way too far into my comment. I said every single game on Iowa's schedule is winnable. I never said they would win them all. In fact, I said I wouldn't be surprised to see them lose to Illinois State. I wouldn't be surprised to see them win 4 and I wouldn't be surprised to see them win 8. That's how unpredictable they are at this point. Iowa historically under KF loses to teams they have no business losing to and competes against teams they have no business competing with. They are a Jekyl and Hyde team. I do not think this is going to be a good Iowa team, but there isn't one game on their schedule this year that I look at and say "There's no way they can win that one".
The fact that you actually can see Iowa winning 8 games with that roster is unbelievable. They only won 7 games with a far better depth chart last year. They are worse this year. Not even debatable.
They can win 8 games easy this season. Apart from Wisconsin and Nebraska....they literally play nobodies.
Their roster and depth chart really is that bad. Iowa could probably lose to any team on their schedule as well.
Even Wisconsin and Nebraska look pretty beatable this year. Heck, without playing the shoulda, coulda, woulda game Iowa was in a position to win both of those games last year and those two teams were both better than they will be this year.
