I actually would not mind losing him to Kansas. Even if Bill Self seems to put a disproportionate emphasis on the Big 12 regular season (and in the process runs out of steam in the B12 tourney and NCAA tourney), he at least runs a clean program. No shame in losing a recruiting battle to a blue blood programwith a clean (even if dis-likable) coach.

I'm hearing A LOT of steam about Chieck and Kansas. Still a lot of movement to go down, obviously. Kentucky will be a factor too. Just passing along what I'm hearing.

Embiid calling him probably was a big help as a foreign born big that can speak to development and cultural connections on campus. He went from a non top 20 recruit to being a top pick despite injury. That is a good angle.
