Won't happen but ifBarrett Perry could recruit a lot of talent to a JUCO in Ottumwa, IA it would be interesting to see what he could do on a big stage. Again...he recruited to Ottumwa...have you been to Ottumwa?
Am I the only person that doesn't think this is that big of a deal?
I didn't think we'd get Diallo anyway, and I'm not all that impressed with the recruits Matt A. has gotten to come here either and think we can do better.
And Matt A. really didn't impress me as a coach either. He was an average recruiter, and not a coach at all really. I'm sure he was a great guy like everyone has said, but I don't think we'll skip a beat losing him IMO.

Havent read the entire thread but what I do think could be unique is if Fred stays in house he can elevate the coach of Yawke thats already here to a higher level which would avoid NCAA rules of Yawke not being able to come this year. Which in turn could help get Diallo (thats the hope that is).
Well...he can if Washington releases him from his LOI. If I was Washington not sure I would be inclined to do that for an assistamt leaving, but who knows.

I'm sure this has been covered a thousand times, but how exactly does moving Yawke coach to higher level avoid NCAA guidelines? So if an affiliate has some *****, entry level position then said player isn't eligible? But if affiliate has position of prominence then said player is eligible?
I think that's because people don't realize how much he works with the transfers as well. He has been the big piece when it comes to bringing in transfers. He did not bring in the best high school players, yet, but it is a matter of time.
Yeah,not sure what to make of that. Whatever, if Fred decides to bring him back, with all due respect to GeorgesFan, I respect Fred's opinion more when it comes to whats best for the program.
