ISU -5.5

Iowa State 86 UO 77 Matt Thomas continues his double digit contribution roll.

Wow, I thought ISU would be favored, but not by that much. I guess it is a Monday night home game which bode well for ISU.

I can pump rainbows with the best of us and ignor the fact that our last 2 losses had similar spreads.
Sure would love to see us close one out strong and get the bench some PT. But that's a lot to ask vs OU.

I certainly hope that we can CLOSE out this game with a nice double digit win, but have been conditioned to be nervous about every game until the horn actually sounds. We shall see.

Effort won't be a problem. It depends if they have cured whatever infected some of our best players with "the stupid" the last few games.

If I had to rate the easiest things to fix on this team, it be:
1. Stupidity
2. Effort
3. Confidence
4. Defense
5. Talent

Not touching this line, but if I had to, I'd go ISU. Road teams on Big Monday's after a Saturday game have a horrible record if i remember correctly.

Yeah, pretty much this. If Hogue and Niang can clean things up and take better care of the ball, that would go a long way. I think effort and intensity should be fine at home on senior day coming off a couple very disappointing losses.

Monday road teams are 4-6 this year so not too shabby overall, though 3 of those 4 wins were early in the conference season and a couple of them were against TCU and Texas Tech.

Gotta think the 3-ball will be the key tonight, yet again. Home against Baylor, they were 14-26, we were 6-24. (That math doesn't take long to do.) Against KSU, we were 3-12 in the second half. When your shots go in, you can look pretty good.....I haven't done all the research, but the 3-point shot has been a real gauge in measuring ISU's success (or failure) this season. Oklahoma turned the tables on us in Norman with the 3-ball in the second half, and our perimeter defense needs to be much better this time around.

Having said that, I'll call it 81-77 good guys. Jameel will be the difference

Continues? He was 1-6 vs KSU but I digress......

id take the over.....but I wouldn't feel great about it. I think we got these last two.

LAUGHABLY OVER with 8 minutes left
OVER with 7 minutes left
OVER with 4 minutes left
OVER with 3 minutes left
UNDER with 2 minutes left
UNDER with 1 minute left
UNDER at buzzer.

Clones by 18 tonight boys. This one won't be close. OU has zero chance. Not a good idea to pick a fight with a wounded animal.

I can't see us losing 3 in a row, and 2 in a row at home. Sucks we'd be helping KU extend the streak to 11 if we handle OU, but should bounce back in this spot I think.
