I've heard a lot of Iowa would do better in the big 12 talk, based on Michigan St beating Baylor more or less they think (even though their division won 1 bowl game) that they do in the b1g. They wouldn't have sniffed a bowl game in our league.

I'm the furthest thing from a Ferentz supporter but that shouldn't be all that surprising. Ferentz has been at Iowa for 16 years and Helfrich is in his 2nd year with no prior head coaching experience. You can bet if he beats Ohio State his contract will be renegotiated and higher than Kirks but he's still playing with Chip Kelly's recruits.
