It's kind of hilarious that Captain Kirk kept doing the onside kicks and such when with a similar score last night Florida State pulled its starters. I think he knows some of their fans will be thrilled with their big comeback and grit.
Yeah, that was kind of lame that Captain Kirk left his starters in against Tennessee's 3rd string and kept doing onside kicks.
It reminded me of last year's Iowa-ISU WBB in Hilton where we were destroying Iowa and Fennelly pulled the starters with a couple minutes left, but Bluder left in her starters and slapped on the full court press.
Fennelly then said screw it and put his starters back in and Bluder got upset for some stupid reason? When you are getting your a** kicked and the opposing team decides to be nice and yank their starters so they don't run up the score on you, the decent and correct thing to do is to yank your starters as well and give some other guys some playing time.
Some idiot that doesn't understand that NO we are NOT happy with Paul Rhoads up here in Ames. He sounded like such a moron saying that crap.
The day we are happy with 2-10, we need to just shut down the football program.
And.... NEVER call into a Hawk show and say you're a Clone fan. You only give credence to the "little brother" theory.
Why are they even bringing up Iowa State? Still butthurt about the loss? Aren't all of the games after the playoffs start pretty anti-climatic?

Murphy brought it up the first time, not sure if any of the callers talked about it.
I honestly don't get their love for Beathard. He's not very good and maybe only marginally better than Ruddock. Probably worse in some respects.
Sure seems like it, even though he claims to be neutral - which I think he is in a lot of respects. However, look at his Twitter over the past 6 months. No funny pictures or retweets when we thrashed Iowa in basketball, no pictures or retweets for ISU football win over Iowa. Just pictures of Iowa State's "funny" McDonalds yellow uniforms, BDJ getting arrested, etc.
