Odd time for game. Favors Iowa as there will be zero crowd support there for Ohio State. This one should be easier for Iowa than North Carolina since Ohio State is grossly overrated. And less we forget, Iowa has the best big man in college basketball, self proclaimed Aaron White.

I hope the hawks win.........better for ISU and knocks another team down that is in contention for a top seed come tourney time.

Hell, I hope the Hawks win the B1G and go 18-0 in the process.

That's a really odd time to play. I bet Russell puts up a ton of points. Ohio State has a lot of talented pieces

Even though it may make us look better for Iowa to win... I have too much Hok hate to ever root for them. A tourney miss sends fan base to new depths. So fun. They have a ways to go to get back to Lick apathy, but I could see it if they miss the tourney this year and next. They have no decent recruits, no tourney in future could easy be reality.

This is that big 10 prime time slot. Noon on a tuesday...

I'd prefer them to always be an NIT team. That should keep Fran around for the long haul. I'd like to see them go 8-10 in conference play then lose 1st round of the BTT

well, we know most hawk fans don't have much going on at noon on a tuesday.

"HEY HONEY. THAT GUBMENT CHECK SHOW UP YET?"

From ESPN:
The Hawkeyes are without three of their best players from a year ago -- leading scorer Roy Devyn Marble (17.7 ppg), along with Melsahn Basabe (7.2 points, 5.7 rebounds) and sub Zach McCabe (6.1 points).

Snicker......Ill give them Marble and Basabe, but mcCabe?

As annoying as they can be, I'd rather have the Hawks be decent and care, rather than be apathetic and have one less exciting game on our schedule.

You forgot to include one important statistic.

Now do you understand?

Insert gif of McCabe airball.

Ohio State is an 8.5 pt favorite. It will be interesting to see how many fans are there. No students, 12:00pm game on a Tuesday and I would guess a good part of the fan base is already in New Orleans

As you might expect, the crowd is fairly subdued for 1:00pm on a Tuesday (I guess that's better than noon... Eastern time zone in Ohio)

Iowa off to an early 10-3 start

it's a joke Ohio St. is ranked. At least 10-20 teams better than them that aren't.

Ohio St's two best wins are a bad Marquette team and either Wright St or High Point depending on where you look.

To those who thought Iowa wouldn't make the tournament: Ohio State might be the 3rd best team in the B1G and they are not that good this year. Iowa will get their W's in the conference schedule.

This. The Big Ten is bad bad bad. I wouldn't be surprised at all to see Iowa get some wins in the B1G and make the tournament (which wouldn't be an awful thing for ISU).
