Levi Peters Given Scholarship

How are we going to complain that a walk-on beat out scholarship players for a spot on the depth chart now? :jimlad:
 
That's cool. He definitely earned it.

How do midyear scholarships work though? Don't they normally give out any extra scholarships to favored walk ons during fall camp?

Usually they do wait until fall camp. However they might feel he is going to contribute even more than he was on special teams and decided to reward him now.

He must be rehabbing like a mother****er, this is good news.

Levi was definitely revving up the sidelines in his boot.
 
Congrats to him. I assume this means they expect him to be a capable contributor next season, or an absolute stud on special teams.
 
People seem to forget his injury and how detrimental it was to the team regardless of if he saw the field on defense or not. Definitely one of those guys that the other players feed off of.
 
Had we had him available when Miller went down, Levi is the one I would have trusted the most at MLB, albeit undersized and his normal position being OLB. I'd still rather of seen him in there JMO.
