Abdel Nader

I'm not sure how many of the extra minues from BDJ being out will be allocated his way but this is a good chance for him to show what he's got.
I
agree this is a huge game for Abdel to step up. One thing i think will play a huge factor into how he plays today is if he starts or not. It seems to me this a man who wanted to start right away and thought he may have had that spot taken when he got his OWI. Not saying he shouldnt have had it taken but, just saying that is his mindset. But if he starts tonight I see him showing more confidence and possibly being a huge key in tonights game (win). If he gets left on the bench for Matty T he may show discouragement or even selfishness in the way he plays because he feels he has to prove himself to gain that spot. Idk I just hope he gets it going like he has shown signs of doing a couple times that last few games. Either way, he is a big key to how we play, good or bad.

Nader is a bit of an enigma, similar to MT last season. We know they light it up in practice, but it doesn't carry over to the game, likely because of confidence, anxiety, and adjusting to the pace of the game.

He certainly looks like he's a bit slower in the progression than the other guys, but we also know he has true talent. I'm not sure a hostile environment like tonight will be what acts as his awakening, but we can certainly hope.

He has looked more comfortable and up to speed every game. I thought he played some good defense against Arkansas. We're going to need that kind of effort tonight because he can definitely be a big part of this game inside. My concern is he is really susceptible to pump fakes while he goes for a block. That's high school stuff, and we know White's best offense in the halfcourt is getting fouled. Force White left, stay down, let him throw up trash with his right hand. Ok, sorry. I just really hate White's game.

It's pronounced FARve.

Sincerely,
Bret Favre

Not to be confused with Officer Rod Farva

Any word on why Abdel didn't get in trouble with BDJ?

Because none of them should have got in trouble in the first place but then the Ames PD pulled an Ames PD and someone needed to take the fall and it happens to be BDJ's name on the lease so he was the one arrested.

Longest one sentence explanation ever? Try to read that out loud in one breath. Makes me feel like Ace Ventura.

I hope he has something good to show - so far for every good basket or board he gets he quickly follows that up with a turnover AND a foul. In my opinion he is leading for the K.J.Bluford LVP award this season.
