East Mississippi Community College defeated Iowa Western this past weekend in the NJCAA championship.

EMCC was a perennial loser, but a coach came in and has changed all of that:

"Here's another secret for ya," he said, "It's all about the little things. The D-I programs do the little things.

"And kids love the little things."

Those little things — Stephens' favorite being EMCC's arsenal of uniform combinations: five jerseys, five pants and five helmets to choose from — have resulted in the nation's top junior college talent being stockpiled in Scooba.

EMCC is located in a town of 700 people and is 40 miles from the nearest WalMart. A lot of parallels exist, but what sticks out to me is the comment on little things & the coach's favorite - the arsenal of uniform combinations. The facilities are there (football building, training facilities, stadium expansion) - so what other 'little things' could ISU utilize to attract recruits to Focus Town?

But, but, but...no one probably knows who's playing with all them uniform combinations.

Tell you what...win, and mother****ers will know who's playing.

It's ironic that Jp and CPR want to build this image or brand but in reality it might be better that most people don't know who we are when on TV. Lol
