Siap, but I just heard today hodge got kicked off the team. Doing a quick roster search he doesn't come up. Anyone else heard about this?

Another three star down the tubes? :v_SPIN::v_SPIN::v_SPIN:

Looks like we need another qb to recruit then.:swoon:

We better consult CW or Adam what happened.

Didn't he switch to defense?

Didn't seem like he had a place on the team he was going to make the field so I guess it frees up a scholly

How about we extend at least a llittle sympathy. The guy accepts our scholarship offer and moves half way across the country (from California to Iowa). He gives it his best shot and after being on campus for less than a year, he is told that he likely does not have the needed skills to be a Big 12 QB. He is given the opportunity to go work with the safeties. As far as I have heard, he was okay with that. Five weeks after moving to the defensive side of the ball, his knee gets blown out.

I don't know about anyone else; but, I feel sorry for the guy. I wish him well. Certainly wished that things had worked out differently for him.

So he is back in Cali already?

Didn't know that, but the way things seem to go for Cyclone FB, it is almost like you are more likely to have a knee injury than not.

Me either. If his scholly was pulled, definitely no hard feelings but what happened for him to be kicked off the team?

His high school teammate, WR Kj Young scored his first touchdown of the year against you guys.... There's a thread on KJ somwhere around here

I thought Hodge had some arm talent, and the mobility. Weird.

He pretty much was moved when Mangino got on campus. Wasn't he suspended for the spring game?

Sounds like Mangino made a decision and the kid not finding his place anywhere else. Too bad, he looked athletic. Best of luck to you, of course this is operating under the presumption he was not kicked off the team for anything egregious, because there has been no confirmation of that.
