More gasoline for the Hype train

What hype? We're just an average big 12 team but improved from being 8th out of ten the previous few years.
 
Trains run on diesel (technically diesel/electrics, but what burns is the diesel), not gasoline.

I think our athletes use it as motivation rather than pressure. You think Georges doesn't like hearing this stuff and get pumped up? This team as played best when the lights are brightest. Can't wait to see what this year brings!
 
Anything can happen between now and April, but what the guy writes is pretty darn sound. There are not a lot of media guys that have figure this out yet, but Fred is one of the absolute best coaches in college BB, and he certainly has not done it with blind luck. Actually he is pretty far from lucky. (Babbs, GN, BS officiating, etc.) A lot of coaches have a plan for the next game, Fred has a plan for the next season before the current one is over.

His use of redshirted transfers has changed the whole game. He now has talented guys that spend a year getting stronger, smarter, and better while also making his team better, because they are practicing against good, developed players instead of freshman and walkons.
