The field grass is too green also and I'll bet the hotdogs from the concession stand are cold too.
If I remember right JP said via email to some poster on here that they had to turn down the volume because the bluehairs complained. Probably the same people who wanted them to stop using the siren sound because it was confusing and they thought a real storm was coming.

Well they could turn up the crappy muffled $5 million audio system and make an announcement.
Is there a guy whose job it is to sound that siren?
Boring job (especially these days) but someone's gotta do it.
At the Baylor game it sounded like there was some speakers blown. Just made that muffled sound like the speakers were shot. Not sure what it would take to fix something like that.
We normally sit upper deck section C but today we got to sit in section 26. I noticed the speakers were really quiet and we couldn't hear anything the refs said. Is it normally that bad in the lower deck?
If this is the thread for general complaints.... This is America, there is absolutely no reason that we should ever have to watch anything in Standard Definition!
Here is my take, first time back in a few years (but we are 3-0 in my last three pilgrimages back):
What we did well:
1. Second half
2. Weather
3. Sam, Lazard, Bibbs
What drove me nuts:
1. Why are we completely going overkill on the tornado siren before the players take the field? I remember a decade ago with the animation of the I-35 sign getting twisted around, thought that would still beat what was shown today.
2. Love the band, but that medley at the end of the half blending the traditional songs was... not good.
3. Way too difficult to find the down and distance in the chaos on the north end display. Easier to find the first aid stations.
4. (This is a 10+ year problem) Why do we even bother giving in game running scores on the black/red banner signs? Update them more than once a game please! And now we show short tv clips? Weird.
5. Whether you love it or hate it, don't cut off Sweet Caroline after one stanza.
6. The cheerleader/Jimmy John's ad live shots. Just felt like we have completely sold out there after seeing that the second time.
Honestly, any day with a W is a good day though. Still work to do for JP and crew.
