It's been so long since I had a team in the post season that I had to look up what NLCS stood for :(

The only real painful thing is that I married a Cardinals fan and she is laying it on THICK right now.

So I just reminded her about how her Illini lost to Purdue last weekend.........................

I should probably start fluffing the pillows on the sofa now lol

Crazy's an Illini fan too, so that's kinda funny.
 
What immediately comes to mind is the scene from Anchorman when Vince Vaughn's character tells Ron Burgundy that he hates him, but respects him.
 
It's baseball. Outside of the teams still in it no one knows this is even going on. It's kinda like the NIT.
 
Very impressive run by the Cardinals. I loathe them, although not as much now that LaRussa is gone, but it's still an incredible run. Congrats.
