So how is Jarvis West doing? Anybody have any updates? The bye week may be just what he needs.

He seemed to be dazed on the sideline right after that Neely TD. Im sure he will be fine for Baylor, probably just going to need a week to take it easy.

If it turns out to be a concussion, I hope that he rests longer than this bye period. Those things don't clear up in two weeks.

Hopefully, it's not that, though. That's one of the last things you want as a student or athlete, much less both.

I pretty much agree with this. Plus if he's not absolutely 100 percent, there's no sense in putting him out there and risking anything in a game where, in all likelihood, isn't going to end up pretty whether he's out there or not.

It's a long shot but Baylor doesn't look any more dominant than the undefeated OK State team did coming in. Plus they really haven't played anybody. Perhaps the combination of a road game at a bigger venue and hopefully better opponent could catch them off guard.

I sure hope Jarvis plays against Baylor but would understand if he doesn't. I hope Rhoads remembers Briles running up the score on us last year and gets the team even more fired up for the opportunity.

Man that guy cannot catch a break. He has been on the rough end of tackles and big hits several times. Really hope this was nothing more than getting his bell rung and he finishes the year injury free.

All the articles whining about the targeting call don't even mention that the hit took Jarvis out for the game.

Hopefully we get an update at the presser tomorrow on all the guys who went down yesterday. Great timing on the bye week, for once.

Anybody with any actual info in the meantime? Was he just dazed? Or was it a concussion? And if so, how bad?

I like your thinking

Hoping all the injured guys are healing up okay...but yeah, Jarvis is one of my favorites - I want to see him back in the action as soon as he's healthy enough (but no sooner).

I'm no Dr. But I found it encouraging that he was walking around apparently by himself with the team in the endzone celebrating after the game. He wasn't really participating, but I'd expect if they thought he had serious symptoms - somebody would be on him like glue.

Also appeared Harris was on crutches - not unexpected.
