Honestly I think before every home game Rhoads and the team should take craps all over the visitor locker room at Jack Trice.
The pinkness is overhyped by the UI media. The color doesn't have any effect on the players.
The Jr. High conditions they are put in have more to do with it.

If I was Iowa I'd be rather embarrassed by the pink locker room anymore. It basically says they are trying to resort to ways off the field to beat their visiting opponents. What's worse is it doesn't work. If ISU had something like that I'd be pretty annoyed as a fan.
I agree. Had its time and place, but comes across as a tad gay-baiting now. Grow up Hawkeyes.
Actually the whole idea is immature on a junior high level at best, homophobic and misogynistic at worst. Thus the Hawk loving lottery winners installing it into the visitor locker room at Bondurant with great fanfare.
Surprised they don't yell nanny nanny boo boo as our players enter the locker room.
I agree with The Captain. I never thought the pink was an issue while the teams I was on went 2 -0 at Kinnick.
Did it, in a slight way, just make you want to beat them even more? For me it would be annoying that Iowa is trying to play mind games to beat you.
Not really. If it wasn't for all the press about them I probably wouldn't have even paid attention or really noticed them.
Growing up in eastern Iowa gave me all the motivation I needed to want to beat them.
