Cyclones

I know a lot a people don't care about it, but it would be cool to be the first school to win the CyHawk challenge 2 years in a row.

I didn't want to start a whole new thread for this but I felt like it was something I wanted to say. Obviously, since my brother graduated, I haven't had nearly as much invested in the ISU Football team. They've become a team that I've followed, rooted for, but wouldn't consider myself a true fan (I haven't been to a game since my brother graduated but I've made an attempt to follow every game I can). I can honestly say that this years team, despite some of the adversity, is one of the most fun teams to watch. I think as an "outsider" I can see things without the Cardinal and Gold glasses and maybe have a little better perspective than some of you that have a lot invested in this program.

However, I really don't see how you can't be excited about the future of this team. I know a lot of people are getting down on Coach Rhoads and his staff, but really try to keep in perspective the turnover of his staff. Whether it is people moving on, or coaches being relieved of their duties. For the first time in a long time, I feel very good about the entire staff and the entire team. The offense is very young, but is still very explosive. I really think this could be a team that explodes in the years to come.

The last thing I will leave you with is this: I really hope that some of you buy in to Coach Rhoads like the players have. The program has realistic goals for this season and for the future. I really believe that those future goals are big. Cheers Cyclone fans, enjoy this win.

Times are changing.... When I played we were called "little brother" and it always ****** me off.

Well...."little brother" is sick of it and now its time to push big brother to the side take over the State.
