If ISU wins tomorrow...

Sorry to be so negative, but really ... we were horribly throttled by NDSU. Iowa is basically the same team but probably better. We had big plays against K-state and still were outgained 470 to 320. NDSU it was 500 to 250.

Drink the Kool-Aid if you want, but you better plan on cleaning the garage or something at the half. Ya'll are talking bowls? I'm hoping for a win against Toledo and see what happens after that.

Don't forget that roughly 65 yards or whatever were taken away from our POSSIBLE total because of the West PR. Again, who knows if we would have scored a TD on that drive with our offense but that PR for a TD was a drive taken away in regards to total yards.

Nothing can be said about the total yards comparison vs NDSU :swoon:

a bowl game is a stretch. They'd have to win tommorow and then go 5-4 in the conference. I'm too lazy to look it up but I'm guessing '05 was the last time ISU has had a winning record in conference play.
Did you forget about Toledo.

This is all speculation. Our player don't play like they think they are going to win. Until they start walking the walk, there will be very few wins in our future.

They have loads of potential and tons of young talent, but if they aren't clutch, in the moment, and poised it all amounts to nada. I think we can win, but I won't hold my breath. I am more confident in knowing Meeks will be starting.

Count me in on this Kool-Aid train. I've just got a feeling about tomorrow's game.

Like your name.

Sorry guys ... not gonna happen. The Clones might play well enough to keep it close, but we don't have enough guys that really know how to win.

Sam scrambles and his accuracy goes out the window. Too many key turnovers, when our defense doesn't return the favor, etc.
Someone listened to a podcast.

At the beginning of the year, I figured ISU would realistically be 1-2 heading into the their first bye, and if ISU somehow manages a win today then they are right where I think they would be meaning that a bowl game is a possibility but will be an up hill battle.

If ISU wins this afternoon, the Hok fans that have been repeating the "winning is all that matters" mantra will be quite a bit more negative this evening.

Not to mention most Hok fans will have to stop mocking us about losing to an FCS team - because that makes them the team that lost to the team that lost to an FCS team.
