Completely off-topic but I see the SEC has 7 total non con games vs power 5 teams or ND, which is about 12% of the games. B1G has 17, B12 has 10, both over 30%. The more you know.
Not to mention SEC teams have 4 available slots to play somebody compared to the B12 only having 3. Didn't they regulate that they have to start scheduling at least one soon? SEC has been playing the system like a fiddle...best teams no doubt, but hasn't meant top schedules.
i agree to help cytwins explain how important posters are to motivation. Have you ever seen a poster and not felt motivated?

Their ex-commissioner created a flawed system, and they knew the loopholes. I like how they recently rejected a 9 game conf schedule that everyone else is adopting. I can’t take it anymore, I hope Stoops sends a message and runs up the score on Tennessee.
So basically anything said about this being a big game for Iowa doesn't matter.

That looks like after every game to me-especially a trophy game. And I have season tickets. So carry on with your rationalization to make you feel better about this not being YOUR super-bowl.

I look forward to Sunday when this game is past us. It's unfortunate that Iowa has to put so much emphasis on this game and their fans treat it like it's the 1 game they have to win. As if they don't even care about the rest of their 11 opponents. The Iowa coaching staff is probably putting in double overtime just analyzing film of us.
They are putting double overtime in prepping. There are no poster kiosks at the mall anymore so they have been online for months trying to find enough to motivate the team.
Just an fyi, from someone that is at practice, they have jerseys on all the dummys of random big 12 teams. Even teams they dont play (nebraska) its just crap they have laying around. Im pretty sure they got the hawkeye jersey at wallmart.
What Im yet to see is posters hanging all over the athletic facility featuring the hawkey football team.
Also, you have over 100 posts on a cyclone board in a month explaining how little this game means to you. Are you a cyclone fan posing as a hawk fan to make the hawks look bad?
