Saying Iowa put up posters in their football facilities in a football thread isn't avoiding talking about anything. I think Iowa wins Saturday if it makes you feel any better...they always circle this game on their schedule and Kirk will have them fired up.
If they don't win ferentz should can greg davis before he leaves the stadium. This is the worst team of the four non conference opponents they will face.
I am not sure how anyone could view it differently.
In the game of football, the only stat that really matters is points. Iowa only had 3 points 57 minutes into that game. Ill be frank; any Iowa fan who thinks Iowa improved from Week 1 to Week 2 is a moron.
Keep telling yourself this. Maybe if you repeat it enough you'll convince yourself of it, but nobody else is buying you actually believe it.
All you need to do is look at how much more fired up and animated ISU players will be to start the game compared with a typical opponent vs. Iowa's even keel approach on the sideline and on the field from it's players to see who has this game circled and considers it more important.
Aren't football games 60 minutes long?
Put it this way if ISU could have done what Iowa did they might actually get a win this year. However even I can't move the bar enough to make that seem possible.
I am confused, if this game means so little to iowa fans why do they flock to this board to defend their team? I cannot imagine how badly they invaded Ball State.
