Watch ESPN Available to Mediacomm

yeah - this was what I was waiting for. I'll be a first time cable subscriber as of Tuesday when Mediacom (hopefully) flips the switch.

Has anyone actually had success using it? I've tried using on multiple devices and my mediacom login info wont work.

Same here although I am using South Slope (coop that serves area between Cedar Rapids and Iowa City). It is listed but I have yet to get it to work...

Mediacom is a good provider, they're just a little behind the times.

In a few more years, they might have internet that doesn't suck gonads, too. Fingers crossed!

I've set up a mediacom email, but when I try watching it just says "False returned in _parse_response from Thin API"

I just tried to get on, you need to use your @mediacombb email, I didn't even know I had one until a few weeks back when I was trying to set up a new modem, for me it was in the [email protected] and at the time since i hadnt used that address before i had the default password from mediacom which was "medaicom1" Hope this helps!

I've only heard horror stories. If this WatchESPN deal don't work - the Mediacom subscription will get axed pretty quick.

They're actually not too bad. They'd seem perfectly fine if I didn't have anything to compare it to, but literally every other provider I've had has been much better and worth any additional cost.

Okay, so just got on and tried using the website. I can only get the channels that I already get with my current cable subscription, I had hoped that I would have access to things like the SEC network or Longhorn network, but when I try to watch it says "user not authorized error"

I think the LHN and SEC are available if you subscribe to them. They are the exception. And ESPN3 looks to be available based on internet provider and is not included in WatchESPN automatically. Then again this is far more confusing that it should be so I could be completely wrong.

I know, I was hoping I could get them without paying extra :skeptical:

Yeah...that seems to be the case. On my tablet I was able to log in under WatchESPN and watch the channels that South Slope (my cable company) offers (we get SEC channel but not Longhorn). Still not able to figure out how to log in on a notebook!
