Im unaware of another method in how to determine which team is better. Pretty sure head to head matchup is the only way.

Or we could look at your quote and the fact that in spring ball your "coach" (use that phrase loosely with rhoads) had iowa jerseys on tackling dummies. You're right though no emphasis or super bowl on iowa till game week.

I get hit with so much stupid around here that you will have to forgive me if I can't always keep the appropriate stupid associated with the correct poster. Plus when you thrown in my stupid on top of that, I got no chance of remember who said what.

I for one am glad that ISU picked themselves up off the mat after week 1. This week wouldn't be near as fun and would frankly remind me too much of 2007 otherwise.

I would agree that beating Iowa would shut Iowa fans up. I only wish the same were true when Iowa beats ISU, as ISU fans never shut up, and will start blabbing on and on about the strength of NDSU, the Big12 and how the Hoks couldn't beat a team on ISU's impossible schedule.

Don't fool yourself the game is big for Iowa fans also. Playing any team is a measuring stick on how good your team is. The goal is the be better than every team you play.
 
The crazy thing is Iowa is probably a marginally better than ISU, but our records are going to be complete opposites of each other because Iowa plays in a pathetic conference. Must be nice.
