Yes, Purdue beat an actual opponent, so yes I view 1-1 vs two mac teams >>>>>>> 0-2 with a lose to a FCS school.

Iowa wants to win EVERY football game, I'm sure they hung up news clipping from most teams. It isn't Iowa fans who say things like "hey ISU fans what do you think about Rhoads 2-3 record vs Iowa". Iowa fans say, hey ISU fans, why do you accept Rhoads winning % of .415, and 14 total conference wins.
Fact: NDSU would of beat Iowa today & KSU would of beat Iowa last week. Teams have bad games. Iowa had a horrid game today, ISU had one last week.

ISU was the only school involved in the last 15 yrs where the media took pics in the Hawks' locker room/fb complex, which portrayed Iowa's superbowl opponent in clippings and posters

Like I said, wrap yourself up in the power that is NDSU, just cause you got your arse whipped by them. Iowa beat a very good UNI team, a UNI team that will probably beat NDSU when they meet this year. I'm not going to go around and thump my chest cause Iowa beat UNI, because they should beat a freaking FCS school.

We can't lean on that. At least not until we're posting winning records. No matter how much better we've played we've lost two games that I thought we'd win. If we play like we did today we'll have a chance at some upsets. The offense and defense played much better today but we did give up 32 points and we idn't score in the 2nd half. I'm quietly optimistic for next week.
