Malik Dime---Indian Hills (reported UW commit)

Re: Malik Dime---Indian Hills

Unless you're in a position like Kentucky I find it pretty hard to turn down a commitment from a guy you're heavily recruiting even if he is (sorta/maybe) Plan B.

If Dime wants to commit this weekend you have to take him and adjust your recruiting strategy accordingly.

The kid's only played BB for three years, the upside is off the charts.

Agreed, it's a no-brainer to take his commitment.

Depending on how serious the KU offer is, I could definitely see him pulling the trigger on his visit, but that might depend on if there are any strings attached to his offer from the Jayhawks.

I don't think KU has offered. And I doubt that Self is in a rush to put the press on Dime, given the other big guys Kansas is pursuing.

That's kind of what I was thinking. That's why I wouldn't be surprised if Dime did commit on his visit.

Re: Malik Dime---Indian Hills

Really hoping we get this guy and Diallo. With either Dime, Diallo, or Mckay on the court, we would have an athletic rim protector that can run the floor, and that excites me.

Re: Malik Dime---Indian Hills

I would love Dime and Diallo along with Williams and Cooke for a 2015 class. We are in on a lot of guards in 2016 so taking 3 forwards in 2015 would work just fine with me. Plenty of guards on the team in 2015-2016.

Re: Malik Dime---Indian Hills

It says right on his 247 page that Kansas offered. Unless you are saying that is incorrect.

It probably is incorrect. If he has one it's thought that they wouldn't take his commitment until other dominoes fall.
