Ooh baby, the Royals are in first in their division as of tonight!!!

Bullpen is well rested, Billy and Gordon are coming around, and they just picked up Willingham today. It seems like everything is falling into place.

Great time to be a Royals fan! This streak is awesome, Detroit is losing, and we are so much fun to watch right now.

And they have the easiest schedule of the wild card teams if they fall back behind Detroit. I'm mostly worried about the innings on Duffy and Ventura's arms getting up there and those two losing effectiveness. Yost has done a decent job at keeping the workload on the bullpen down.

I criticize Yost a lot but I have to give credit where credit is due. He's kept the bullpen pretty fresh and has figured out how to use is bullpen for the most part. I'm hoping they can maybe rest Duffy and/or Ventura a start here or there at some point.

Does anyone remember me saying they were my dark horse world series contender before the season?

Let's go Royals!

That South Korean guy after the game tonight was hillarrous.

My first MLB game was a royals game. I can't say I am a diehard fan but would love to see them make some noise!

Alex Gordon -- best position player not named Mike Trout by fWAR. Hard to believe.

I looked at the calendar and it's Aug, not April - nice going KC. And they're doing it without much power hitting
