Encore Pizza reviews

Good pizza, but honestly if we're around there we usually get Pagliai's. Not been disappointed with them ever though.

Been meaning to try it out knowing a Cyclone great like you owns, just don't get to that area much, wish there was a closer west side location...but I will make an effort to give it a try

We love it. Discovered it by accident and now have to have it every time we're in town. Found out after we'd been going there who owned it.

The lunch buffet was in my regular rotation when I worked in the area. Never left disappointed (or hungry).

Thanks.

I need to find a way to repay Cyclone fans for the support over all these years.
I can't afford free pizza for everyone wearing Cyclone colors but any ideas would be appreciated.

Never been, but I'll give it a try. The reviews online seem pretty good. This one from Yelp was kind of funny

"If Encore Pizza delivered to NJ, I would be your #1 customer. Dennis Gibson is responsible for the greatest sports memory in my life when he batted down the O'Donnell pass in the '94 AFC Championship game which sent the San Diego Chargers to their only Super Bowl berth in team history. Thank you Dennis!"

Live in Johnston, Encore pizza is lights out best pizza in the area. Love the thinner style pizza

Encore is the best pizza around. Takes more of the thin crust to fill you up, but the lunch time buffet takes care of that.

So I am going to admit, I have never heard of or noticed this place, and I drive by it all the time (we go to cactus bob's at least once a week). I had to google map it.

Good to know they have a lunch buffet, I will have to talk the guys in the office into trying it.

Awesome pizza. Only ever eaten the lunch buffet. Also a bit cheaper than pizza ranch (and better). Crust is thin, but not extremely thin. Highly recommend

A cardboard box with a slice of velveeta is better than pizza ranch, and less of a chance of explosive diarrhea.

The Margherita pizza with garlic, basil, and roma tomatoes reminds me of the first pizza my wife and I both loved: Eduardo's Pesto pizza in Chicago.

P.S. Cool photos on the walls showing the building of Saylorville Lake.

Love it. My wife and I grabbed dinner there the night I ended up proposing. Iowa State had just got done beating Kansas State in football and I was in so good a mood, I figured like I should propose that night. Stopped in for pizza, then went back home where I proposed (I wasn't very creative). Almost 7 years ago now.

I've had many other parties there. Always loved everything I've tried.
