NBA: ***Official Pre-NBA Draft Thread***

They'll take Embiid and be one of the many teams who fell in love with a big man only to have that big man be either A. a bust or B. Injury riddled

The Cleveland Cavaliers are on the clock.

The Cavaliers have not picked in time. With the number one pick, the Milwaukee Bucks select Andrew Wiggins, from Kansas University.

With the second pick in the draft, the Cleveland Cavaliers select, Doug McDermott from Creighton University.

I would hate my life

On the bright side, there is almost no chance that this year's pick is as bad as Bennett.

The whole process feels wrong. "Congratulations on being the best player in the country. As part of your reward, now you live in Cleveland." No offense to Cleveland. :jimlad:

Could be worse I guess..hell of a lot better than Detroit.

They just have a to find a way to get James to come home. Maybe trade the pick to MN for Love? A duo of Love and Irving may intrigue LBJ to come back to Ohio. Throw in Waiters, Thompson and maybe Bennet will turn into something. Hell i could coach that team to a title.

James has to be tired of carrying Wade's crippled body and Bosh.

I still like Mike Greenberg's idea that the lottery picks should be awarded in best to worst order. The best record not to make the playoffs should get the #1 pick. Next best, #2, etc... All teams would actually be competing all year instead of tanking.

That said, Cleveland fans should burn the city down if the don't draft Wiggins. Frankly, they should burn that city down regardless. The suburbs are nice but Cleveland is a garbage dump.
