NFL Draft Bust Ballott

Manziel will not be a bust. I have a feelin he will do fairly well. Maybe not an Allstar but in the league for a decade or longer

Johnny will be a pro Bowler. Mark it down.

Don't see Johnny being a bust. However, I can't see him putting up big numbers because he needs guys to throw to

Johnny- style of play doesnt transfer to NFL well and plays for Cleveland
Bortles- plays for Jacksonville isnt ready yet
JaWuan James- big reach, Dolphins needed help
Anthony Barr- dont think he will develop well
Eric Ebron- doesnt block, has attitude problems IIRC
Jadeveon Clowney- anyone with that much hype cant live to to all of it
Marcus Smith- no idea who he is, big reach
Dee Ford- big reach
Deone Buchannon- bug reach

Something about Bortles just screams not ready for the big time and that he'll be a bust. Plus he's going to NFL purgatory in Jacksonville

Nothing about Bridgewater indicates he'll be any better than Ponder. Vikings gave up too much to get him.

Manziel is a total enigma. He could get broke in half in his first season or he could have the Browns in the playoffs by his third year in the league. He's too unpredictable to even make a guess at right now

I have a bet with my buddy that Johnny Football will never start and win a playoff football game. Thoughts?

1. Clowney. He has all the necessary talent, but I just can't shake this feeling that he's a defense's version of Jamarcus Russell in terms of commitment.

2. Bortles. This pick still confuses me. He's got potential, but third overall?

3. Gilbert. I'm not sure he's physical enough to really succeed in the NFL, but pairing him with Haden isn't a bad idea. Still feel like Dennard is the best corner in this year's class, though.

4. Lewan. I just never was overly impressed with him at Michigan.

5. Shazier. Overrated, IMO.

6. Manziel. I think he's got the talent, but he's another guy who you just don't know what you're going to get off the field on a given day. If he flops, I'm betting it won't be because of his play.

7. Roby. This one's more of a reach. I think he'll be solid, but not worth a first round pick.

8. Bridgewater. I can't help but laugh hysterically when I see Vikings fans post the meme of AP praying for a real quarterback and Bridgewater saying I got this. I don't think he'll fare any better than Ponder.

I don't necessarily think all of these guys WILL be busts. But the poll said who you think has bust potential. I can definitely see it with these guys.

Friday at work the Vikings fans in my office were going on about how they were glad they drafted Bridgewater over Manziel; I couldn't help but ask why. IMHO, I actually think they would have been better off with Manziel. Sure he's high risk/high reward, but to me it just seems like Johnny's skill set better complements the other offensive weapons Minnesota has (AP, Patterson, Rudolph). Of course at the end of the day no one really knows what will happen with these guys.
