One could argue that this is worse than what Irving did. Nader put everyone at risk that he encountered on the street while driving drunk. Luckily for him, nothing happened though.
If it's his first stupid thing he's done while at NIU and ISU, then I see a 2 or 3 game suspension. Unless Leath steps in of course, and then all bets are off at this point.

Did you forget that someone almost lost there life from one of those light poles, and just overall how dangerous riots are? Drinking and driving is not a black and white issue. What was his blood alcohol level? Is he a habitual offender?
Drunk driving is bad, but people lean towards the hysterical when it comes up. People do things that put others at increased risk on the road all the time. Eating, talking and texting on the phone, driving for extended periods of time or with little sleep. All of these things increase the likelihood of an accident and put others at risk.
