Littering and? Littering and? Littering and? Smokin' the reefer!

I was wondering about Bowers since he split from FSU. He is friends with McKay, both from Milwaukee. Also he played with McKay's lil brother at his junior college. Plus Micah Byars coached at Chipola CC so I'd imagine he has some connections there. He should already be familiar with ISU since we recruited him out of HS. Hope we get a visit from him.

I was about to say some of the same things. Bowers is originally from Wisconsin (Milwaukee class of 2012). The relationships you named above are a great start. I think we have a pretty good chance with him depending upon how his visit to Auburn goes. Bruce Pearl can sell playing time because Bowers will easily be one of their best players. Auburn's top 5 scorers were either guards or seniors. Auburn's 2014 high school class isn't anything spectacular either.

Bowers has 2 years left. If he wants to go to the tourney, he should keep in mind that Aubrun has a ways to go to get there. Will Pearl have them in the Dance by his senior year? Maybe, but he's almost assured of two trips with us, and the ability to potentially make a deep run.

We do love our 6'6" power forwards...

He may be 6'7", but he is 260lbs. We have not had that type of bulk, and we could certainly use it. He is a very good rebounder and has good feet. He would start alongside Georges and help keep guys like Ridely and Alexander (KU) out.
Add him to BDJ, and we would have the most complete roster at ISU in the past 20 years.

Almost identical in size to Royce. Maybe just a tad shorter.
