NFL: No more dunking

Hard to imagine the wind in some cities doesn't do more damage to the alignment. Will be interesting to see if they extend the uprights like they're considering. If nothing else, put some sort of camera in the top that looks upwards with a sensor or laser of sorts.

Yes. With all the technology we have today the only way we can determine if a field goal is good or not is to have 2 old dudes stand under the posts?

So no balls being used as props because something, but go ahead and jump into the stands, that's still cool.

The concern is even greater if they do decide to lengthen the uprights of the goal posts. That changes the structural integrity entirely and there are fears that perhaps a player could end up bringing down (or at least that was what was suggested by the radio guys sharing and commenting on the story).

My initial reaction is to think the league is once again going the No Fun League route, and while it's hard to shake that impression, I think I understand the logic. You can't have players knocking the goal posts out of balance, which apparently has happened on more than one occasion.

Yeah...If I was at a game and had to sit there for 20 minutes while they re-balanced the goal post because of some lame celebration move, I would be annoyed. NFL players need to step it up with their celebration anyways. They need more #swagberg.

Really? I thought those goal posts are stronger than that.

If someone dunking a football screws up the speed and efficiency that is a 60 minute football game taking 3 hours to complete I'm going to be super ******.
