were at the Iowa game today (puke). I am ashamed to admit that I was listening to the Hawkeye pregame while my wife and kids were shopping in the mall. The Cyclone pregame hadn't started. Dolphin said they were attending the game. I would hate it if Barnes went to EIU.

I think he's been to IC before when ISU has played on the road during a weekend game. I doubt it's much to worry about.

Yeah, Babb I has a good chance at going to Iowa. I hope Harrison is reading this, (I know he knows about it) and if you're reading this Harrison, please come to Iowa State!!!!!!!!

If Barnes stays in state to play ball, he will be going to ISU. Iowa is a non-factor.

McD son and Barnes are the same age, and play ball together. I am sure that can do nothing but help ISU's chances at him. You have to give the kid a chance to go look around at other colleges. Most of us did before we went to college.

I know it is a little early for "have to have" recruits when they are only sophmores but I believe Harrison Barnes is a absolute must have. What does that say about the state of ISU men's B-ball if McD couldn't sign a player who plays with his son, is in the same town as him, his mother works at ISU, and he consistantly hangs out with current B-ball team members.

Barnes is going to be good, and it would be a HUGE hit if he went anywhere else (I honestly don't care if it's Duke, we should land this guy).

What a few have said before, IF Barnes stays in the state of Iowa it will be ISU...

It says the fans put to much pressure on a teenager?

I do not blame Harrison in the least for taking his time with this one, and if he doesn't eventually choose the good guys, I will be horribly disappointed, but will not hold it against him. He's just a kid at this point, despite his tremendous talent. At that age, not only did I not know what I might want to do next week, the better half of my decisions were poorly made.

I think it's a great thing that fans are already singing his praises at this point, as long as we keep perspective on both him and the coaching staff.

We don't want this to turn out like Jon Sheyer, where Weber's brother was his coach, he lived next to Champaign, liked the illini's players, and ended up going to duke. That would be bad if something like that happened.
