Why exactly was TCU added to big 12? They are truly an embarrassment to our conference and not because they suck but because they literally have 3 fans. Their basketball stadium is tiny and no one is there. They are on national television and the Baylor bench is louder than their fans. One positive for us is it will be like another home game for us since well probably bring more fans than they have. It just feels there would have been much better additions to our conference than TCU.

But why settle for crap just because they're immediately available. Should have went after a school with fans.
 
Who else would have came to the big 12? Everyone else think its that bad of a conference? I guess I feel like were in good company with a lot of the schools.

I don't think you understand how conference realignment works...

who would you have chosen? i would really like to know
 
There are only a handful of fan bases who would show up to watch that team struggle. TCU was the right add.
 
I would have tried poaching someone from acc personally. And no I'm not an expert or claimed to be in conference realignment. Just stating my opinion on TCU. You watching the game on ESPNU? Im just saying its kinda embarrassing and I understand they suck but still.

they are in a much better position than Baylor was on their second year of the Big 12.
 
And it appears I'm a minority in my thinking and it was a good add for the big 12, which is good I'm glad most people seem to be happy. I'm just a complainer I guess.

It was musical chairs for them and the conference. The music stopped, all the chairs were filled in all the good conferences by our 4 former members and we replaced one of them with WV. Texas pulled in another chair for them out of pity b/c they were good at football when they played bad teams.
 
This is way worse than our loss @ WV.

Home game for OU. Less than 13 minutes left in the game and OU has only 30 points.
 
Pretty sure all conference realignment cares about is football. A lot of collegiate sports got shafted with all this moving around.
