RB Jones ’50-50′ about Gophers-Cyclones | David Shama's Minnesota Sports Headliners wierd... Everyone saying ship has sailed but don't get why he would say 50/50.
Yeah it doesn't make any sense. Don't know why he would say that when it seems like even the coaching staff has pretty much stopped recruiting him.

I assume he is trying to create some suspense for his signing day announcement. I'm guessing both coaching staffs know he is heading to Minnesota. I have a feeling Michael Warren is going to be special, so it is all good.
Sounds like he really likes Rhoads. I would bet a lot he goes Minnesota but would be an awesome rabbit if he picked ISU. That is a guy you have to take.
That's the only thing I can think of as well. I feel like Kenric Young did that a bit too.
Nobody wants to be taken for granted. Nonetheless if I were Rhoads I would be sending Mangino up there to meet the parents and make sure. High reward and for whatever reason he has kept us on his radar well after he committed and seems to like something about us.
It proves how brainwashed Iowa kids are when it comes to UI vs ISU. ISU can convince kids with more talent to come all the way from Florida but we can't get kids with lesser talent to come from inside the borders.

The Cyclones haven't been to Washburn to see Jones since the dead period lifted. And they're very happy with Martinez Syria and Mike Warren

Jeff Jones told a reporter today he's 50-50 with Minnesota and Iowa State. Funny, since he's not returning ISU's calls. He's a Gopher.
