It will be interesting to see what this team does. Our defense is one of the worst in the league - period. The offense is inconsistent. Our OL has shown flashes but are a long way from dominant. Oh yeah and did i forget that were 25 million over the salary cap next year....so were actually gonna get worse when we have to cut players....nice use of the salary cap Jerry!!!!
I mean its not a piece or two, there a lot of missing parts. But, as long as this idiot thinks hes close to winning it all he will continue to draft badly. I mean look at his track record....horrible drafts and overspending on free agents like Carr.
I mean look at these two decisions and they set a franchise back badly:
Joey Galloway for 1st Rndr in 2000 (19) and 2001 (7).
Roy Williams for 1st (20), 3rd & 6th round picks in 2009 draft.
2012 NFL Draft - you give up the 14th & 45th picks to move up and select Morris Claiborne the best corner ever....he better get adjusted to the nfl sooner rather then later....cuz he aint done jack.....
Ok lets look at the players that may have been available at those two picks that Dallas could desperately need:
Brockers DT, Irvin DE, Jone DE, Reiff OT, DeCastro OG, Zeitler OG, Upshaw LB, Glenn OT, Kendricks LB, Reyes DT.
Now as a football fan, we could have selected 2 impact players that could help our team for the next 10 years. Instead we bundle it and move up to pick a CB thats not even starting after his second year.
Again - until Jerry starts to run his organization like he runs his oil business it will not be relevant! Fire himself and his son and hire people whos job is on the line if they dont do it correctly and suddenly there would be a change in culture.....until then - welcome to 8-8 and overpriced seats to a pathetic team!
