Quote from his recent blog post, "Because there are no dominant teams like there were in 2007-08 or 2008-09, it would not be at all shocking to see a team like Colorado, Iowa State or Oregon get hot and reach the Final Four in Dallas. It could be that kind of season, and those seasons can be all kinds of fun."

Also has OSU at #8 in his title contender list, with Iowa and Kansas as "also receiving votes."

Love that legit national folks say things like that. If we can get a good tourney draw, you never know.

Credit to ISU, as they have looked the part of a team that will contend for a conference title. Who knows in the NCAA, it is about match ups, but like Bilas there doesn't look to be a team in the country that ISU couldn't hang with.

With less gutle$$ officiating in the NCAAs this could have happened last year.

I mean seriously.....all this week everyone saying you don't blame the refs, you are gonna go and blame the refs for a game that had 20 Personal fouls called for both teams, on a single call with 1-2 minutes left in the game?

Ha. Totally different situation. It was a blown call that even the media said was a blown call and it was a singular call that decided the outcome of the game.

On paper this has the look of a wide open upset infested NCAA tourney. With that said, it'll probably be a boring chalk filled bracket in the early rounds taking the air out of that balloon.

Link? I agree it was a bad call, but seriously?? Gonna go the blaming the refs route when ISU had multiple opportunities to win that game following that call???

It's a pretty big deal when the NCAA issues an apology to Iowa State and then they changed the rule because of it. NCAA Tournament 2013: Head of officials disagrees with Ohio State/Iowa State charge call - SBNation.com

Edit: What is wrong with quoting people this morning? It keeps messing it up.

The really sad part is that it had to come to this to get it right, and then it really isn't right anyway, because ISU was at home watching games instead of playing them. It was painfully obvious it was the wrong call, and they looked at it multiple times and still got it wrong.

Some butt hurt Hawk fan that can watch the entire ISU vs Iowa game and point to 3 or 4 calls that might have been missed is trying to equate theses two events? What a moron. BTW, butt hurt, I rewatched the game last night and there where easily as many missed calls on Iowa as ISU, including the big hack on the opening tip! Another pretty obvious one was when Kane stumbled threw the lane and got called for travelling after Marble pushed him from behind with both hands. Things get missed, it is part of the game, but when you stop the game and look at the video for 5 minutes and still get it wrong, well that is just getting screwed.
