NFL: Week 16

Well really crapped the bed Thursday night Rulzz, I don't THINK the Pats finish undefeated but the Chiefs catching us worries me, a 2 seed wouldn't be a disaster as I am not sure how the Pats finish without Gronk.

Jim Schwartz might be coaching for his job today and the rest of the season. If the Lions don't win the Division, speculation is he's gone. Too much talent and started the season off too fast to just lose it at the end. And if the Lions give up the division lead to the Bears and/or Packers, they'll never get it back.

I don't understand why he's had a job as long as he has. Both the Vikings and Lions should have new coaching staffs before next season.

Look how long their ownership kept Matt Millen around. It's a fine line between being patient and being stubborn.

Because Schwartz has a lot of goodwill built up. He took an 0-16 team to a 10-6 playoff team very quickly. The problem is between last season and how quickly this season is going south he's burning through that goodwill very quickly. Not to mention he is notorious for lack of discipline (the amount of personal fouls the defense racks up is ridiculous), not knowing the rules (losing the challenge against the Texans lat Thanksgiving because he challenged a play that was to be auto challenged anyway) and bad decisions because he does not seem to comprehend situational awareness (fake punt on 4th and 7 on his own end of the field with a comfortable lead - it completely changed the course of the game as the Lions lost).

The biggest problem though might be with the Ford family itself - they may make some pretty good cars but over generations they have proven over and over they cannot successfully run a football team.

Saw the week 15 and thought that was from last Sunday. Mod's can merge this with week 15 thread already started. My bad.

I expected to lose Thurs. Chargers have played well in Denver plus they won in kc. Only thing that concerned me was running for 18 yds. Can't be that bad with rb we have.

I knew in the first half Thursday it was a lost cause. Short week, division rival coming to town, Chargers fighting for their playoff lives...it had all the makings of a trap game. That's why sweeping K.C. was huge because it afforded us a hiccup.

The Broncos have the Texans and Raiders left...they'll be fine. Just have to hope the Pats lose one more...they still have road games at Miami and Baltimore.

Nice pass by Campbell. Unfortunately Bowman is on the other team.

With the number of injuries for the Bears and Packers there's no excuse for the Lion's to not win the division.

Looks like the Texans will be looking at QBs in the draft next spring - Case Keenum is 12-23 for 99 yards with two INTs. He's looking very bad against a Colts secondary that hadn't played a particularly good game since mid October.

Patriots down 17-13 halfway through the 4th. Just about time for Brady to pull something out of his *** to give NE yet another shaky victory. God, I hate the Patriots.
