***Offical NBA Regular Season Thread***

Yeah. Fortunately most of Chicago's drafts recently have gone pretty well. Thinking its time to dump Noah, Deng, and Boozer and build for the future. Just pray that Charlotte pick works out.

Don't want them to trade Noah. Anyone else I'm all for it. Deng HAS to be traded as he is a FA so we need to get something for him.

Again, he suffered almost an identical injury that Westbrook had. The amount of time it took him to come back would put Rose's return around April. It might actually happen.

Right, but the timetable for the return isn't the issue. The issue is the organization and Derrick Rose sending differing messages. Gar Forman says Derrick Rose is out for the year on November 25th, and less than two weeks later Derrick Rose says he's not ruling out a postseason return. It makes both sides look terrible and it frustrates the fans. If there is a possibility, however slim it may be, that he can come back this year then the whole organization should be saying as much when asked. If he's done for the year, then that's the sole message that should be coming from everyone involved. Another knee injury, another PR disaster.

Ah, I understand where your coming from. Yeah, not a very coherent message coming from the Bulls franchise. The funny thing though is, if Rose comes back, the East is soooo awful the Bulls become a legitimate contender quickly.

But you have to factor in Rose's mental issues regarding injuries.

A contender for what? Even with a healthy Rose, it's the Heat and the Pacers, then a huge gap then everyone else.

The Pacers have two losses this season. One of those losses was to Chicago. (Also, Currently the Rose-less Bulls are giving the Heat all they can handle, though the game is just at halftime, and the Heat can still win this, and Miami is without Wade and Anderson)

I just don't get how you could say a healthy bulls would not have been a title contender this year. (Of course none of this matters now, because Rose is out, and he will not be back this season.)

Can't believe what Bulls are doing to the Heat. Miami loses at home to Detroit then gets smacked around by a 7-9 Bulls team.

The Bulls match up with the Heat really well, especially when Miami is without its number 2 scoring threat in DWade. Chicago rebounds well, and plays strong physical defense. They have good ball movement, allowing them to take advantage of Miami's tendency to gamble on defense. (Though Chicago still turned the ball over plenty.)

Pacers continue to impress on their road trip out west...3-1 after beating the Spurs last night. Tough back to back game at OKC tonight, and then back home for a marquee game with the Heat on Tuesday. Just a brutal stretch, but so far so good. I do wonder if they can maintain their early season intensity through all 82 games.

If they can escape the West with a 500 or better record, they can relax a little when they take on East opponents.
